Pool Classes

14′ square whirlpool spa kept at 98 degrees and a 30′ x 60′ leisure and lap swimming pool, kept at 85 degrees and home to our water aerobics, arthritis exercise, and aquatic therapy classes. The following guidelines will help you find the right class for YOU:

◊ Easy – Mild intensity, designed for those just getting started in a fitness program. A chair is often used as an aid for balance and support.
◊◊ Moderate – The cardio classes will be faster paced with more involved choreography. One should be able to get down on the floor with relative ease.
◊◊◊ Challenging – Format and intensity of these classes is designed for the more advanced exerciser.

Aqua Boot Camp ◊◊◊

Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., Pool
Turn up the heat with this fast-paced high intensity water exercise class. (45 minutes)

Aqua Combo ◊

Wednesday, 2:15 p.m. & Friday 10:00 a.m., Pool
Water walking and low intensity endurance activities make this a great class for anyone with arthritis and other joint issues. (45 minutes)

Aquatic Arthritis ◊

Monday & Thursday, 2:30 p.m., Pool
45 minutes of gentle range-of-motion exercises designed to reduce joint pain and stress.

Cardio Waves ◊◊

Monday & Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., Pool
Tuesday and Thursday, 7:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., Pool
A higher intensity water aerobics workout designed to get the heart pumping. Combined with segments of scupting and stretching, it’s a great cross training workout.

Liquid Fusion ◊◊◊

Monday, 6:30 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m., 45 minutes, Pool
This class is designed to combine the power of the water with its ability to relax and soothe. This awesome interval style workout will challenge and energize you.

WaterWorks ◊◊

Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., Pool
A water aerobic workout utilizing the resistance of the water to improve stamina, strength, and flexibility without added stress to the joints. (45 minutes)
