Open Art Studio – Wanda Aikens
Do you have a painting or drawing that you never completed? One you’d like to begin? Work in oil, acrylic, watercolor or drawing with instruction and encouragement from Wanda Aikens. Introduction to Watercolor – Wanda Aikens
Whether you are a beginner or have been working with watercolor for some time, this one-session class will be helpful to you. Learn about the unique characteristics of watercolor paint and how to paint better pictures. This class is also a prerequisite to “Watercolor Painting with Wanda Aikens.” All materials are provided.

Watercolor Painting – Wanda Aikens “Waterway”
Painting "Waterway"
Once you have taken the prerequisite introductory class, you can apply what you have learned to create a finished painting! It will take only one session to complete the picture “Waterway.” No drawing skills needed. You’ll trace the picture and Wanda will take you step-by-step, teaching you how to apply watercolor paints to your drawing. You must register for this class at the Member/Guest Services desk where you can view the painting and pick up a class supply list. Supply list also availabe below, in pdf format.

Watercolor Painting – Kathy VanTubbergen
Join Kathy and her students as they enjoy their annual summer outdoor painting experiences. Some watercolor experience is required for this class as Kathy helps you develop your style and improve your composition and technique. By the end of May, a map and list of outdoor painting locations will be available at the Member/Guest Services desk.

Intermediate Watercolor with Gloria Dalvini
We are thrilled to have visiting artist and instructor Gloria Dalvini back with us for the summer of 2012! For this class, students must have some watercolor experience and will paint from a set designed to improve their skill in the watercolor medium. Gloria will offer individual instruction, guidance and evaluation. A list of needed supplies may be picked up at the Member/Guest Services desk at registration.
